It was SO. MUCH. FUN.
Having some one-on-one time with my girl was unexpectedly awesome. It's easy to forget how FUN she is when I have to deal with stuff like making sure her bedroom is clean and keeping her from torturing her brother. I never forget how much I love her, but it's sometimes hard to remember how much I like her.
At camp, we didn't have any of the distractions of real life.
We got to hike, sail, canoe, swim, tie dye and make s'mores.
Tessa was amazing, all the time. She's smart, she's sweet, she's adventurous, she's helpful, she's brave, she's funny. She's good at just about everything, and she's a great friend to the other girl scouts. I was so proud to be her mom on this trip!
