Update: part 2

Since today is our Anniversary (11 years!) I thought I'd do the Mommy and Daddy portion of the update :)
Nothing BIG ever happens to mom or dad, does it? So instead, I'll post about the little things.

Mandy...
*turned 30 on March 21st. Not really excited about the number, but the party was fun!
*is thrilled to be done with school (and the PTA!) for the year :)
*has planted about 100 trees in the front yard over the past month. Okay, maybe not 100, but a LOT.
*thinks mowing the lawn with her Ipod on in the heat is like Heaven on Earth. and that's where she gets all her best thinking done.
*was strangely frightened of the wild mushrooms (toadstools?) that grew our of control in the front flower bed all spring.
*loves gardening and is determined to grow something edible before our sad, short, mountain growing season is over!
*is beginning preparations for Asher's 4th Birthday party...even though the thought of him turning 4 makes her OH SO SAD.
*leaves for Girl Scout Camp with Tessa (and the rest of the Brownie Troop!) on Monday!!!

Matt...
*is taking one class this summer semester - and it's a doozy!
*has several hours of homework each week, which is WAY less than some of the people in his class. Good thing he's so darn smart!
*was traveling non-stop (at least, that's how it seemed to me!) for work, but has stayed home for 3 weeks in a row now!
*is playing baseball with Asher on Wednesdays and is SO cute with him!
*is re-building our back fence after a nasty windstorm knocked the majority of it over.
*does NOT enjoy digging post holes.
*is a bit obsessed with making our composter work right now. Not sure what's wrong with the thing, but I have faith he can fix it!
*is really excited to spend 3 days with Asher without mommy and Tessa around. He has plans to "toughen him up"

I have NO recent pictures of Matt and I together.
In fact, there are only a few recent pictures of Matt in my picture folder, and none of me.
I promise to take one soon and add it. Blogs without pictures suck. LOL
