The weather here has been crazy - we've had more rain in the past 3 weeks than we usually get in 3 months here! I like rain...but this has been TOO much - by a lot.
Luckily, it looks like we're done! The 10 day forecast is almost all sunny :)
Despite the rain, we're enjoying the Summer SO much at our house!
Swim lessons are going wonderfully. Asher was fearless at his last lesson, he jumped right in to the water and stayed with his teachers the whole time.
I was even able to sneak away and take some pictures of Tessa!
Her class is learning diving. She's doing great, also! We'll see how much she likes it when they get to the actual diving board - it scared the Hell out of her last Summer!
Asher has a new favorite swim lesson game - Sharkey in the Basket. He likes to be Sharkey best - his sweet teachers let him have more than his fair share of turns. He's the only boy in the class, and the youngest by about a year!
The kids are playing non-stop on their new swingset. This is the first time I've EVER let either of them outside to play without me being right there, and it's a godsend. I'm able to make dinner, clean up toys, even just surf the net for 30 minutes at a time while they play. I keep the back door open so I can hear them and it's heaven. The other night we even let them play out there after their bath - in their jammies!
Hooray for swingsets!!!

Don't ya just love those moments of them happily playing somewhere besides right at your feet? And I think it is so good for them to feel freedom. Win~Win for everyone.
