Late Night Ramblings

Matt is out of town. He's been gone during the week, home on the weekends for 3 weeks now. It sucks.

I've managed to fill the time with tons of projects, keeping myself busy, busy, busy from sunup until LONG after sundown.  In the past couple of days, though, I've started to slow down.  Last night I started out stuffing some new throw pillows that I made for my bed, but ended up sitting in a daze and watching a couple of bad reality shows on TLC.  Shows that I thought I'd NEVER watch.  Shows that I ended up liking...at least for that moment in time.
Should I confess which shows I watched?
Okay...I will...
King of the Crown and Toddlers in Tiaras.  Isn't that sick? I was up until 1:00 in the morning watching pageant television. And enjoying it. Ouch.
Thank GOD I'm not single. I could see this becoming a habit.

Tonight I was screwing around on my computer when I found some pictures of baby Asher.
Oh...my baby boy...
I miss the babyness so much!

I could just eat him up.
He's still my sweet boy - he still loves his mommy best (most of the time!) and he's still my baby...
It's just that he's so BIG now.

I'm the worst mom ever - no pics of Tessa's babyness for you tonight. They're all on my external hard drive, and I'm lazy.  Next time.

Now I'm off to find some more bad television to watch.  I could read...but that will just put me to sleep, and who wants to sleep?!  I think I'll paint my nails...
