I know I say the same thing every year - that it seems impossible that Tessa could possibly be old enough to be in ___ grade...
But this year even Matt agrees with me!
Third Grade sounds so old! And her school work is so advanced! The girl is already doing algebra!
And she loves it :)
Okay, so - pictures. Way back when Tessa started Kindergarten I wanted to be sure that I got a picture of every outfit she wore. Sure, she wears a uniform, but there are so many options! Pants, shorts, skirt...polo shirt or button down...knee socks, tights or ankle socks...and don't even get me started on accessories and hairstyles! So I took a picture of her every day her first week. And now it's a tradition.
Here she is!

She loves her backpack this year - I bought it in the Juniors Department and I think that might be part of the appeal. Here she is showing it off:
Inside the front flap it says "smile, it goes with your outfit" - perfect for Tessa!
Her teacher is Ms. Brown, and so far we really like her. I'm her room mom this year, so I'll be around to keep an eye on her :)
Tessa is in the highest Language Arts group and I think the highest Math group, too. Math makes us a bit nervous, because Tessa tends to get frustrated with Math and give up. Last year we had some issues with her hiding homework and notes from teachers. Hoping not to repeat that this year!
We're all so excited for this school year! Especially Tessa :)
