It's cold and rainy this morning. It's definitely Fall!
I changed my block background to match the season. I love thecutestblogontheblock.com!
A couple of weekends ago, when it first started cooling off, Matt told me that the beginning of Fall always puts him in nesting mode. When I asked what he meant he said "It makes me want to bake something and get you pregnant."
LOL!
I think that we are finally in the same place. We both want a baby. I'm even ready to sacrifice my body again ;) Of course, I'll plan on having a fit pregnancy, but that's never gone all that well for me...
Anyway, at this point the big hold up is the money. $4000 is so very much!!! I still don't know if we'll have the reversal done because of that. But we're thinking about it.

Tessa came down with a stomach bug on Saturday. She was up all night, throwing up. It came on very suddenly - she never even complained of a stomach ache until Saturday evening. Sunday morning she threw up twice, the last time at 8:30, and from there she just got better. She went to school on Monday with no problem.
Asher, on the other hand, complained that his "belly hurt" several times on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Monday night he was up all night, Tuesday he threw up all day and into the night. This morning he's still talking about his belly, and we're being very careful with what he eats. Hoping that today he'll keep some food down!
Matt and I both have sick tummies, too, but not as badly as the kids. Hopefully we'll all be well by the weekend!

Our poor Indy dog doesn't seem to be doing all that well. She has weeks at a time where she seems fine - just old - and then will have periods where it looks like she's on her way out. Poor thing was pretty sick for a few days about a month ago, then was fine for a couple weeks and then sick again for about a week. She seems to be fine again, but her good spells are getting shorter. She's so well potty trained that she always asks to go out when she gets sick - she's very polite, but urgent. She stomps her feet and whimpers, never barks, but is always effective at waking us. Last week Matt was up to let her out 5 times one night!
I keep wondering if I ought to take her to the vet, but after researching her symptoms online I'm fairly certain it's just old age. She is 9 years old next month. She was our first baby...we got her when we'd been married for only 3 months! She was the most destructive puppy - I can't tell you how many floors she ripped up (long story) but we loved her SO much! And she was such a smart puppy, she potty trained in just 3 days at 7 weeks old. She's the most affectionate, gentle dog...I hope we have more time with her.

On to happier thoughts!
Last weekend was opening weekend for the NFL! Matt and I both won our fantasy match ups :) We're a dynasty...for week one! LOL

The leaves are already starting to change. I'm planning to take the kids Fall pictures before the end of the month. It's really amazing how quickly the seasons change. It will be Christmas before we know it!
This time of year is my favorite. I love the weather, and everything is so beautiful. I feel SO lucky to live where we do! Our friends and family complain about the drive all the time, but I love being a bit further away, out of the bad air and in the mountains. I don't think it ever would have worked if I had continued to work, but it's really wonderful since I get to stay home.
