I am in first place in our league!!!
I've been points leader almost all season, but I was hanging in the middle of the pack as far as win-loss record went.
Not so anymore! I currently have a 5 game winning streak!
Take a look at the standings:

Points:
This week I play team Moody - our second team.
Can't remember if I mentioned this before or not, so I'll just go over it again.
We had 12 owners set up to play this year, but one flaked on us at the last minute and didn't show up at the draft party. We went ahead with 11, thinking it was no big deal.
When I went into ESPN to set the rosters for each team, I realized that having an odd number of teams would mean that someone would have a bye each week (duh - can't believe we didn't think of it before.)
So, I made an executive decision (as league commisioner) and created a 12th team. I set Matt and I as owners and called it Moody2, and we put together a team from the players that hadn't been taken at the draft party. It was really fun, actually, to take chances on a bunch of rookies and guys that hadn't been ranked by the pro's. We had watched all the pre-season games, of course, so we picked up some guys that we'd thought looked good. A couple of those have really turned out well for us - Steve Slaton was made the starter just a couple weeks into the season and had put up a ton of points for us. It's really gratifying!
Anyway, Moody2 suprised us all by taking 1st place early and holding on to it until just this past week. This team has the most incredible luck - it's ridiculous.
I have terrible luck, as a general rule. Everyone that plays me has their best week, I swear. Teams put up twice their usual points when they play me. But Moody2 is just the opposite.
We play this week - which means Matt will be in charge of the Moody2 roster - though I've already made a couple of pickups for the team this week.
Can't wait to see who wins!
I don't even really know who I WANT to win, lol!
I've taken 2nd place the past two years - Matt's taken 1st both years! He's not doing fantastic this year, but it wouldn't suprise me at all to see him pull it out.
Still...I feel like this is my year.
Keep your fingers crossed for me!
