Both of my boys have hair that grows ridiculously fast. Matt's looks good for about a month before it starts to get too long. He's so busy, though, that it usually takes him a month after that before he can make the time (and an appointment!) to go in for a cut. This time it was even longer than that! I think it had been about 3 months since he'd had a haircut.
I noticed Asher needed a haircut back at the end of October, but when I realized it had only been 3 weeks since his last trim I decided to let it grow out and see how we liked him with long hair.
So it got longer, and longer, and longer. And he began to look like an orphan. It wasn't cute. Still, I let it grow...trying to get past the awkward part that comes when you grow out your hair.
Then he began to look not just like an orphan, but like a homeless orphan.
Even gel ceased to make a difference.
So we had it cut.
And thank God!
He's so much cuter, now!
