Here's the game:
1) Go to your picture folder, or wherever you store your photos on your computer
2) Go to the sixth
folder and pick the sixth picture
3) Post it on your blog and tell the story that goes along with the picture
4) Tag four friends to do the same thing, and leave a message on their blog that they have been tagged.
My picture folder has about a million folders. I'm a serial organizer. So I had to dig down through a couple more folders before I actually found one with pictures.
The 6th folder in my picture folder was labeled "2007". The 6th folder inside that folder
was labeled "June". Inside the June folder were folders labeled "boating" "fathers day" and "portraits". Since Portraits was last, I went there. Inside that folder were two more - one labeled "GSL" and one labeled "Order". I opened the "Order" folder.
Folders within folders within folders.
Here's the picture I finally ended on - it happens to be a good one!

The story - these were our last family portraits with my family - taken June 2007 (obviously.) My friend Tonya, who is an awesome photographer, took them. I chose the location, the Great Salt Lake, because we'd done pictures there a few years before and I loved how they turned out. My mom and sister were game, but my dad. brother, Joey and brother in law, Colby were NOT happy to be hanging out in the dirty stinky-ness that is the Great Salt Lake. They tried hard not to be too whiny while we were there, but still managed to make us all thoroughly aware how disgusting they found the whole thing.
Still, I thought the pictures turned out nice :)
So now I'm supposed to tag 4 people.
I choose...
1. Lisa
2. Micah
3. Jess
4. Mindy
Have fun!

So, I don't really have folders with photos on my computer (I'm on a Mac with iPhoto). But! I did pick the 6th photo on my photobucket account:

This is my bedroom when I visited my family in Utah for winter break. My Dad refers to it as "the Superfund site" and gets after me to clean it. Then, in the middle of cleaning, I'm like, "Hell, I'm 28 years old." Then I dump the stuff back on the floor.
Oops. I realize I just said the H-word. I should have said "Heck." Apologies.
Michah -
Love your picture. LOVE that you said Hell. Love, love, LOVE that you apologized for it.
Show some discretion in the future! This is a family blog, for God's sake!
