We packed the camera, then left it sitting in our suitcase the whole time we were there. I considered dragging it out, but never could bring myself to do it. It feels weird to take pictures of each other without the kids around. And we're not much for scenery pictures.
We did have a great time, though! It was very relaxing and lots of fun.
The kids did well at home with L'Jean (and grandma!) too. Asher cried on the phone on Saturday night, which made me cry, too - but other than that we did fine!
This past weekend I threw Matt a Birthday party at home. He wanted a poker party, so that's what we did.
I decorated and everything was darling! I had my hair cut and it looked fab! I cleaned and cooked and everything was gorgeous!

I'm getting really bad about this camera thing.
I did remember to snap a couple while Matt was blowing out his candles. Other than that there are NONE.
so here he is - 30 years old!
Though he could totally pass for 25 ;)
The party was a blast. Lots of good friends and food and drink and poker - it was really, really great. Good choice, baby!
